Salesforce Technical Lead

Job Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

• Lead and manage a team of Salesforce developers and administrators.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Drive best practices in Salesforce development and integration.

Salesforce Development:

• Design and develop Salesforce solutions, including customization, configuration, and integration with other systems.
• Develop Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and other customization as needed.
• Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices.

System Integration:

• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using SOAP/REST APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
• Design and implement data migration solutions to/from Salesforce.

Solution Architecture:

• Define technical solutions, considering functional requirements and Salesforce capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Technical Documentation and Support:

• Create and maintain technical documentation related to Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce issues.

Release Management:

• Manage Salesforce releases and deployments using tools like Salesforce DX, change sets, and third-party CI/CD tools.
• Ensure smooth transition of changes from development through to production.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (preferred), Salesforce Certified Administrator.
• Proven experience as a Salesforce developer, including customization, configuration, Apex coding, and Lightning component development.
• Experience leading and managing Salesforce development teams.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations using SOAP/REST APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
