Salesforce Technical Architect

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions across our organization. As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will be responsible for understanding business requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and leading a team of developers in delivering high-quality Salesforce implementations. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and senior management, to ensure Salesforce solutions align with business objectives and technical requirements.

Responsibilities:

Solution Design:

• Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements and leverage Salesforce best practices.
• Create technical architecture and solution design documents outlining system architecture, integration strategies, data models, and security models.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and coach Salesforce developers on technical design, coding, and best practices.

Platform Expertise:

• Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and features, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and Salesforce Einstein.
• Stay updated with Salesforce releases, features, and roadmap to recommend and implement solutions.

Integration and Data Management:

• Design and oversee Salesforce integrations with external systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and governance in Salesforce solutions, including data migration strategies.

Governance and Best Practices:

• Establish and enforce Salesforce development standards, coding practices, and security guidelines.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices.

Collaboration and Consultation:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with project timelines and milestones.

Performance Optimization:

• Identify and resolve performance issues in Salesforce solutions through proactive monitoring, optimization techniques, and tuning of system configurations and code.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement and enforce Salesforce security models and practices to protect data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Stay informed about Salesforce security features and updates, implementing them as appropriate.

Documentation and Communication:

• Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications.
• Communicate technical solutions and design rationale to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Continuous Improvement:

• Evaluate new Salesforce technologies, tools, and methodologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation in Salesforce solutions.
• Provide recommendations for enhancing existing Salesforce implementations and introducing new features.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification is highly preferred.
• Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect or similar role, with a strong track record of successful Salesforce implementations.
• Expertise in Salesforce development technologies including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL tools) and data migration strategies.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, governance, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
